Glossybox Sweden - September 2015

The latest edition of the Swedish Glossybox surprised me a lot and I felt compelled to share its contents since I really enjoyed it.

If I have to be completely honest, Glossybox has not excited me very much this year as a whole and with the exception of a couple of boxes, for the most part I pretty much gave away every product I have received. I am not sure if my interests (when it comes to makeup) have changed or the boxes were simply not that great but I even contemplated unsubscribing a couple of times.

I have to say that I am very glad I didn't because they have definitely stepped up their game and the September issue just happens to be pretty awesome.

The theme this month is Beauty Spotlight which completes the campaign Glossybox has recently started - promoting more tolerance and positivity on the Internet. I fully support their cause and I am gladly joining their appeal.

1. Oriflame - True Perfection Exfoliating Renewal Mask. Full Size Product 50ml/199kr
2. Benefit Cosmetics - Roller Lash Mascara. Full Size Product  8.5g/235kr
3. Glam of Sweden - Caviar Pearls. Full Size Product 15ml/39kr
4. Naked Lips - Organic Tinted Lip Balm, Plush Red. Full Size Product 59kr
5. Make Up Store - Boheme Microshadow. Full Size Product 145kr.
I adore all kinds of skin masks and I was so excited to see this exfoliating renewal one from Oriflame. I don't have a lot of experience with the brand but I know a lot of people truly enjoy their products and I am looking forward to trying it.
It contains enzymes from pomegranate, a totally new concept for me and having in mind I am struggling with skin texture issues I would really like it if it works and I see results that last. It has smoothing out properties and it is supposed to leave the skin renewed and soft.

The other product which excited me the most is the mini version of Benefit's Roller Lash mascara which has been hyped up lately and I can't wait to see for myself what is so special about it.
Typically I am not a fan of Benefit mascaras and I cannot remember liking any of those I have tried so far, but since my lashes desperately need help staying curled I am willing to try pretty much anything to make it happen. Would gladly share the results once I have the chance to test it out.

I am not a fan of the caviar manicure trend and because of that I will most likely give this product away. It is just not my thing, I don't find it attractive and is not in general anything that appeals to me in any way, it is just pointless to force myself doing it when I can let someone else to enjoy it.

The Naked Lips lipbalms are pretty awesome and even the current one I am using comes also from this brand. They contain great ingredients - organic for the most part and simply work. I don't have major issues with dry lips and can't really comment on their healing properties but I am definitely enjoying how they maintain the health of my lips and keep them soft and smooth.
The one that came in the box is tinted - which frankly I usually don't prefer but I am going to give it a try and if I have to I will use it only at home, since red usually is not my colour.

The last product in last month's box is an eyeshadow by the brand Make Up Store in a lovely dark purple shade, which I will use for sure. The brand recently repackaged all of their products and I am not sure if this particular colour is in the current assortment but even if it isn't there are plenty of other matte purples to choose from.
My only complaint is that their products as a whole contain parabens - usually more than one type and I would prefer avoiding this ingredient whenever possible. It will not stop me from trying it but it is doubtful that I would run out and purchase it myself.

That was everything from the Swedish edition of Glossybox for the month of September. I think the composition was perfect and it definitely provided me with a few new items to play with and enjoy.
