Last month's Glossybox edition pleasantly surprised me with a wonderful Christmas theme of the box itself and products which I want to try and excite me.
I was out of the country for a few days and my box arrived just before I had to leave, which didn't give me enough time to check it out thoroughly and enjoy it. I rediscovered it when I came back and I can't wait to get to try everything.
My latest Glossybox arrived a couple of weeks ago and it took me some time to present it to you, since I can't say I was particularly impressed with it. Some of the products included were rather interesting and not something one would expect to receive in a beauty box. Nevertheless at least I am not hating it and having in mind the last several boxes were absolutely awesome, it was about time to receive something a little more average.
The theme they chose this month is Ray of Beauty and is inspired by the last and very precious rays of sunshine for this year. The box is in its standard pink format, nothing exciting but very practical and appreciated.
They have included the newest issue of the Glossy Mag, which I tend to read from time to time and I find somewhat interesting.
The latest edition of the Swedish Glossybox surprised me a lot and I felt compelled to share its contents since I really enjoyed it.
If I have to be completely honest, Glossybox has not excited me very much this year as a whole and with the exception of a couple of boxes, for the most part I pretty much gave away every product I have received. I am not sure if my interests (when it comes to makeup) have changed or the boxes were simply not that great but I even contemplated unsubscribing a couple of times.
I have to say that I am very glad I didn't because they have definitely stepped up their game and the September issue just happens to be pretty awesome.
I received my May Glossybox a couple of weeks ago and to be honest I was not very excited by the contents. The products themselves are not bad, they simply do not match my needs and taste. I am not too bothered by it since I am perfectly aware of how such subscriptions services work but the excitement is just not there this time and you will definitely notice that by my review.
The theme this month was - Summer Countdown and it suggested some exciting and colourful products, sadly in the box, I did not find anything that I could remotely even connect to it. Not that it really matters but it just adds to the disappointment.
For the longest time I have been considering to cancel my Glossybox subscription and everytime when I am just about to do it, they send me the most awesome box ever. This last month was no exception and I must say I was really impressed with the design of the box and what was inside.
It might sound completely insane but one of the reasons I cannot bring myself to cancel my Glossybox is the box itself. I just love them so much, they are practical and I reuse mine all the time.
Swedish Glossybox collaborated with a famous photo artist - Clara Hallencreutz and I must say - the result was absolutely amazing.
With the help of Make Up Store lipsticks she created a colorful pout - simple but creative idea and its execution is nothing less but perfect.
