Summer is officially here, at least in Sweden, where today the temperatures are in the higher 20's - very untypical, so I decided it is only appropriately to share what product has won my heart over the past weeks. 

I am not one to spend crazy money on high-end cosmetics, I have my reasons for that, which I am not going to bore you with, but I could say that my interest is mostly geared towards brands in the middle price range. 

Of course I can appreciate a nice luxury product and as a make up lover I do treat myself from time to time with something a little bit more expensive. I tend to choose my products rather carefully and usually I settle either for unique items, which are not duped by a cheaper brand or for those who caught my interest and I just can't pass by. 

I did my research online and after I stumbled upon several rave reviews I decided to risk it and ordered myself 06 Peach Me Love which definitely didn't disappoint me.

I chose www.feelunique.com to make my purchase from, it currently costs about 280kr/30 euro but I managed to use a coupon code which saved me a little bit of money.

Volupté Tint-In-Oil is basically a lip gloss type of a product with an oil-like texture and consistency. It is incredibly light and doesn't feel heavy or sticky once applied. 

The whole line includes 8 different shades, which I had the opportunity to see for myself and even swatch. I was left with the impression that all of them are rather sheer, they lack any real pigment and I would categorize them as a tinted oil. I was happy to find that after the initial application the colour darkens and becomes more visible. 

As a person who is very fair and doesn't have very pigmented lips (usually all lip products look on me a lot brighter than they look on most women) I tend to go for lighter shades but seeing how sheer the collection is, I wanted to make sure that the colour I choose will actually show up. I decided to settle on one of the darker shades in the range 06 Peach Me Love and I couldn't be more pleased with my choice. It is exactly what i hoped it would be - a delicate coral, leaning more towards pink and at least according to me it is the perfect balance between peach and pink. After I give it a little bit of time to sit on my lips and develop, it becomes a lot pinker. 

The oil has a very light texture, as already mentioned and it feels very comfortable on the lips - doesn't settle in the lines and doesn't sit on top of them. The feeling it gives is quite unique and at least I have not ever tried anything similar to it.

I wouldn't say that it is hydrating or healing in any way and I cannot say how much moisture it exactly provides or does not, but it does contain a few ingredients which are worth mentioning - macadamia oil, coriander fruit oil, passiflora seed oil and apricot oil. My lips feel soft while wearing the product, I have never experienced any discomfort whatsoever. 

After it has been on the lips for some time, the oil soaks in completely or somehow disappears and leaves behind a gorgeous delicate stain which in my case leans toward a natural pink colour. It is incredibly long-lasting and that is what makes this product unique and worth the money, in my opinion.

It is so comfortable that if I didn't know the stain was there, I would have never assumed that I have something on. I do not feel the need to use on a lip balm or a similar product to provide me with extra moisture. 

It lasts through eating and drinking and fades away evenly, which is always important for any kind of a lip stain.

I am not one who enjoys reapplying their lipstick 20 times per day and this product allows me not to have to do that. With one application I am good to go for the next several hours, I don't need to think about that aspect of my make up and I can just go on with my day. With that said as you can imagine I am more than pleased with this tint-in-oil and I would definitely be repurchasing it. 

Actually I was so excited once I discovered it, that I wanted to try one of the other shades. Sadly the stain effect of all I liked was quite similar to the one I already own and I decided against it. 

I find the packaging to be very aesthetically pleasing, at least according to my understanding of pretty and I love the feeling it gives me every time when I pull it out of my handbag - it is clean, sophisticated and it looks and feels very luxurious.

The applicator is also worth mentioning since I find it very well designed. The hole in the middle allows more even application and doesn't allow me to apply way too much product at once. It also holds a little amount of the oil which allows me to coat both my upper and lower lips with just one dip in the tube.

It is a nice product and in my opinion is very well worth the hefty price tag. I love the colour, easy application and final effect and most of all the fact that it allows me to go through my day with just a couple of touch ups.

It is not something that everyone would enjoy and I would definitely recommend you to swatch it before you buy it, since it is very sheer and it might not be exactly what you expected it to be or needed it to be, especially if you have pigmented lips or a darker skin tone.

I hope to see a more affordable brand do something similar and I would gladly add a few more shades to my collection.
