Last month's Glossybox edition pleasantly surprised me with a wonderful Christmas theme of the box itself and products which I want to try and excite me. 

I was out of the country for a few days and my box arrived just before I had to leave, which didn't give me enough time to check it out thoroughly and enjoy it. I rediscovered it when I came back and I can't wait to get to try everything.

3 of all 5 items in the box were geared towards the skin and one of the other two is especially appreciated this time of the year when a lot of us suffer from dry and cracked lips. 

And while the packaging is pretty to look at, i would definitely not say it is something super special or even in my top 3 this year. 

Maybeauty is a brand I am familiar with and I have tested a mask of theirs which was supposed to remove my blackheads but instead waxed off every single hair on my face - something I didn't really want to. 

This time I get to check out their Face Gel which contains fruit enzymes and removed dead skin, oils and impurities. I did check some comments on Glossybox's IG and a lot of people complained that they got spots after using the products and most mentioned how hard it was to wash it off with only water. I am a little bit scared to try it out myself and I might just skip it alltogether. 

Etre Belle Cosmetics is another Glossybox brand I have had the opportunity to try in the past. This time they provided us with a roll-on type of a eye cream that contains Golden Caviar extract. It has a cooling effect which actually feels pleasant on the skin and helps reduce the puffiness but it lacks the hydrating effect I am after. I just feel like it does nothing for me and doesn't feel like something I would enjoy using or see any results from. 

Make Up Store recently repackaged all of their products and I am not surprised to see another one with the old look. I got the purple eye pencil and while it is usable and nice I already own a couple of shades similar to it.

Naobay is a great brand which I absolutely love and hopefully their Calming Tonic will become another favourite of mine. Contains camomile and should e used after washing the face, but before the moisturizer. 

Believe it or not I have never tried a Carmex lip balm and I am so excited to see if it something good. Smells sweet but subtle and looks promising.
