March Favourite Products - 2015

00:11

March is already in the past and as happy as I am that the spring is finally here, I just can't seem to understand where did the time go..
Having said that I can move onto more interesting topics, one of which is my latest and greatest discoveries from the past month. I did go a little bit crazy with my shopping adventures lately and due to that, I seem to have an endless list of new products which I absolutely love. I did try however to incorporate some of my older treasures also.

I chose a variety of items from different categories - mostly makeup, since that seems to be what I am trying and buying most often.

Max Factor - Color Puff Blushes - Seductive Pink & Lovely Pink & Nude Mauve

The discovery of the year so far for me has been the new blush collection - Color Puff by Max Factor. I fell so hard for it that I am already a proud owner of three of their blushes which I know might seem a little excessive and probably is, but I love them that much.
They are really smooth and they blend into the skin seamlessly, leaving the skin glowy and fresh without being too shiny or glittery. They are so easy to use, the formula is absolutely divine and I couldn't recommend them more.
My newest addition is a baby pink shade named Lovely Pink. It seems to contain chunkier pieces of shimmer that the other two, so if that is not something you like, I would stay away from it.

Urban Decay - Naked 2 Palette

I own all of the Naked palettes and while I can't seem to fall in love with Naked 3, the other two are one of my most used, most loved, most treasured makeup items as a whole. Lately I have been reaching more for my Naked 2 palette, which contains mostly cool-toned shades and I just cannot get enough of them. I adore the two lightest shades and the taupe one at the end and they all had a key role in my makeup routine this past month.

Bourjois - 123 Perfect CC Cream

A newer discovery for me, this CC cream has already found a permanent part in my routine. While I can't say much about its correcting abilities I can confirm that it covers pretty successfully all minor imperfections - redness, discoloration, small veins and even pimples. The coverage is pretty good for a no-foundation product but still if you have a lot to cover, a concealer is a must.
I personally wouldn't recommend it if your skin is overly dehydrated or dry, since it has the tendency to cling onto dry patches, which is one of its downsides. It is very light, blends in like a dream and evens out the complexion with no special techniques or tools.

Essie - Petal Pushers & Make Up Store - Nebil

The new spring collection from Essie is to die for and the shade I chose to add to my collection is called - Petal Pushers. I am not surprised at all having in mind my affection for grey, but what is special about this particular one is the undertone - purple, which makes it at least to me very unique and versatile. Another great thing about it is the formula - absolute perfection.
My other choice is a bit more colorful and fun, it adds brightness to my day without being too out-there. Nebil by Make Up Store is a sky blue color with a purple micro shimmer, the formula is also flawless and it seems to be a very long lasting one which I definitely approve of.

Max Factor - Refined Rose

Another amazing product from Max Factor is their Colour Elixir Intensifying Balm in the shade Refined Rose. It is very balmy and hydrating but at the same time has a fantastic color payoff. The formula is more creamy than it is waxy which is what makes in unlike most tinted lip balms and worth buying.
Refined Rose is a dusty pink - very natural looking but still giving the lips something extra to make them look nicer without wearing a full on lipstick. It has a subtle glossy finish and tints slightly the lips which considerably prolongs the wear time.

Lancome - Flash N' Fucshsia

Another lip product while I have been loving lately is a lipgloss from Lancome and their "Gloss in Love" line in the shade - Flash N' Fucshsia. It is very vibrant without being intimidating which I definitely appreciate since I can't seem to bring myself to wear brighter colors way too often. The formula is rather thick but not sticky and makes my lips very voluptuous and juicy.
I never expected to like it as much as I do and I would definitely get myself another fun shade at some point in the future.

Dove - Nourishing Oil Care Conditioner

I got a small travel-size tube of this conditioner from a friend who is lucky enough to work at Unilever and I must say I am just in awe how much I actually love this product. Dove is usually not a brand I prefer when it comes to my haircare but their Nourishing Oil line seems to be excellent and I will definitely look into buying the shampoo and hair mask.
It conditions my hair leaving it very soft but at the same time bouncy and full of life. It has wonderful detangling properties and gives me a smooth and shiny finish which I typically get with a much more expensive product.

Nuxe Body - Deodorant

I am a huge fan of Dove anti-antiperspirants, they are all I ever use and they seem to work great with my skin keeping me dry and fresh all day long.
Recently I have decided to splurge a little bit and made myself a present from Nuxe. If you have tried any of their body products, you are definitely familiar with their smell. It is sweet but spa-like, very comforting and at the same time fresh. I am a huge fan and that was the main reason why I even chose to buy something so random from their line.
This roll-on is really great and I must say I didn't expect it to be at all. It not only works the way it is supposed to but at the same time hydrates my underarm area, leaving it smooth and soft. I would definitely repurchase it.

Skin Food - Cacao Hand Balm

Skin Food is a Korean brand which I really enjoy and one of their best products which I have had the pleasure to try is the cacao hand balm.
It is unlike anything else I have ever used in my entire life and it actually works. The consistency is similar to the one of a soft wax and once it gets rubbed into the skin the product starts melting leaving an oily film behind. It takes a good 10 minutes until it soaks in fully, making it something I would rather prefer to use at night before bed. After I wake up my hands and cuticles are visibly softer and dry patches have completely disappeared.
It does have a cacao smell which thankfully is not overly sweet or too offensive.

I could have easily added to this list at least ten more items but decided to keep it short and sweet instead. Let me know if you have tried any of the shown products, I would love to hear about your opinion and experience.
