Max Factor - Creme Puff Blush

Max Factor is one of these brands which I always neglect. I just don't feel overly excited with their products, which is weird considering the fact how much I enjoy some of their mascaras and foundations.
A few weeks ago, during one of my endless browsing the internet sessions for new makeup, I stumbled upon a new line of blushes - Creme Puff - a part of their spring collection and I must admit I was hooked. Immediately ordered myself one of the shades, before even checking online for reviews or swatches. This just shows how excited I suddenly was. Long story short, it didn't take me a long time to get myself a second shade and just yesterday I ordered myself one more. I know, I know..
As far as I am aware, the whole collection includes 6 shades in total, but depending on where you live not all of them might be available. In Sweden were released only 4 of the shades - Alluring Rose, Lovely Pink, Nude Mauve and Seductive Pink.
The price here is 125 kr (around 13 euro more or less) but I was lucky enough to purchase mine while they were on sale for a little bit less than that. If you live in Scandinavia and you would like to save some money, I highly recommend you to check Nordicfeel.se as soon as possible, since they have this line discounted at the moment.
The packaging is made out of plastic, it looks pretty with the clear lid and golden edging and it seems to be sturdy enough with a working closing mechanism. It contains 2 g of product, which is little considering the price point. Just as a reference I would like to mention that a Rimmel blush contains - 4 g, MAC - 6 and Bourjois - 2.5 g.
What's cool about these blushes is the fact that they are not just pink or beige, or brown but they combine different shades of these main colours, which makes them multidimensional and interesting.
I am definitely a fan of the marble effect they have and being pretty to look at is an additional bonus one can't deny.
As a person with very fair skin I was a little hesitant initially, thinking they might be just too pigmented for what I like but I was pleasantly surprised that the intensity was easily controllable and I could decide myself how much of a colour payoff I wanted. They are very buildable which is also always a good thing.
This was definitely a selling point for me and what makes them absolutely perfect for people with all kinds of skin tones. The line offers different options for everyone and if you are into this kind of a product I can guarantee you will not be disappointed.
I bought myself Nude Mauve and Seductive Pink which seemed to be the most interesting from the bunch - at least according to what I like.
Nude Mauve is a combination of a few different shades of brown and beige which swirled all together gave a natural brownish colour, that can be even used as a shading powder if you like a subtle contour with a golden sheen. I can see it working best for people with light to medium skin tone, those of you who are darker than that might want to skip it or use it as a highlighter.
Seductive Pink on the other hand is a lot brighter, contains some peach and hot pink veins. At first I was a little bit intimidated but as I said at the beginning - it can be sheered out and gives you this gorgeous "glow from within" look we all like.
Both of the blushes have sparkle in their formula, it is subtle but visible. On the face transfers as a sheen rather than a glitter and makes the complexion positively radiant . You can definitely skip the highlighter when you use these blushes if you want, I personally like the shine and use something extra most of the times.
The formula is light and soft - a little bit powdery at first actually but blends in like a dream, with literally no effort at all. I love the fact that you can control the intensity of the pigment and choose yourself how much is enough. The longevity is more than decent and on me they last for about 6 hours without any touching up whatsoever.
If you are into this bright, luminous look, this is definitely the right product for you and I personally adore everything about it.

I went by the local drugstore to check the other available shades and did a quick swatch which some of you might find interesting.
